About Blue Worm Woods
My Story
Founded in 2020, Blue Worm Woods is all about nicknames, hobbies and hard work! If you haven't guessed it yet, my nickname is Worm, my father's being Blue... Hence the company name :)
I've been an avid angler for about 10 years mainly in the Blue Ridge Mountains, but love traveling out west each year (Montana/Colorado) to catch some hogs. The progression into tying flies was completely natural and wanting quality products to create these works of art is hard to come by, so I thought, "Why not build them myself!"
When I initially started wood working, it truly was a way to furnish my home. I didn't want to pay a ton of cash for new tables, cabinetry, etc. So I figured, "Why not learn a new skill and try something new".
Over the years, I feel my skills have increased, which led me to want to provide high quality fly tying products table to other enthusiasts.
